MAY 2009

Thankyou to everyone for your support and best wishes over the past opening week. We hope you all enjoy the new purpose built studios. Facilities include a large mirrored, sprung floor, air conditioned dance studio, changing room, music practise room, classroom, music and recording studios and a cafeteria with sun terraced seating area.

The academy had been given accreditation to run course from beginners through to degree level in dance, drama, music and instrumentation. Internationally recognised qualifications (on the National Qualifications Framework) are available through British dance theatre association, Royal school of music, Rockschool and Edexcel. Our first performance medal test awards will take place in July with graded syllabus exams in December.

JAN 2009

The Ghost show will be returning to the UK for performances approximately every 6 weeks and we look forward to seeing you then. Most of the UK available dates for 2010 have already been booked so looks like another busy year. In Spain, the Ghost show will be performing at weddings and selected venues over the next few months, with an increased gig list for the summer. Check out the gig list…

DEC 2008

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that has helped us launch the Ghost academy- Staff, OK Gym, Canal Print, Matts Grafix, family and friends. Our first 2 months have been fantastic and we welcome our new staff members - Kim and Helen to the academy.

We are pleased to announce that the Halifax Hispania Bank are now the official sponsors of the Ghost academy. They will be providing gift bags for all of the pupils and a raffle with fabulous prizes at the Winter Wonderland academy Concert. We look forward to working with our sponsors in the future.Our selection of dance classes continues to grow and we will be starting ISTD syllabus after christmas, pupils will be able to take exams in the future in all subjects. Our first rock school workshop was enjoyed by all and we plan to run this monthly due to the demand and feedback received.

Sep 2008

The summer has just flown by and we are looking forward to the launch of the Ghost academy of Performing Arts on the 22nd September 2008. For the next 4 weeks we are running a huge publicity campaign, with flyer mail shots and advertisements in the Spanish newspapers. We are pleased that the Costa Blanca Leader are running an editorial on the opening of the school and following its success over the next few months.

The Ghost show will be performing at weddings and selected venues in Spain over the next few months and will be returning to the UK for contracted performances during the rest of 2008. TOUR DATES
