Kerry Jayne Carlton born 28 December 1974, Leeds

VOCALS

 

 

Kerry began her performing career at the tender age of 4 when she began attending the Brendene theatre school to study all styles of dance. After winning numerous dance championships for England she represented Great Britain at only 16 years of age. Kerry was accepted at Intake Performing Arts College where she began to be noticed for her  confident stage presence and amazingly powerful and versatile vocal ability. After working as a professional dancer for 2 years in Greece and America she moved to live in London where she attended Performing Arts College and University and began to train in musical theatre and singing, appearing in many musical productions ( including Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Godspell). Continuing with her private dance training she achieved advanced student teacher status the International Dance Teachers Association as well as achieving a B-TEC National diploma and BA(Hons) degree in performing arts. After graduating she embarked on a highly successful singing career, spending 2 years working as a self contained solo act in various entertainment establishments as well as touring Internationally as lead female in 2 major theatre productions - The Meat loaf story and Ye Grande Ole Oprey country legends show. It was during this tour in 2002 she met her partner Curtis and joined forces to create Ghost Promotions. In 2008 Kerry proudly achieved her post graduate certificate of education and fully qualified teacher status and now teaches Performing Arts full-time in schools both in the UK and Spain.

Curt began playing guitar at 7 years old influenced by Eric Clapton and the styles of Steve Vai, John Sykes and Neil schon. He bought his first guitar in the shape of a fender strat and his collection carried on growing from vintage guitars to limited editions but he names Jackson and Ibanez as his main manufacturers. At only 10 years old he made his first public appearance as guest guitarist with rock super group Nazareth which inspired him to form his own band. Curt Wrote his first album in 1997 entitled 'The beginning' and a second 'Raging Fires' quickly followed. The band eventually disponded  and Curt began to play as a session musician in various band lineups. He toured as lead guitarist with Rock supergroup 'The Word' and was eventually snapped up as lead guitarist for several touring shows including The Meat Loaf Story and The 4 tops. In 2005 Curt achieved RGT teacher status and has since commenced his BA(Hons) degree in music.Curt possesses a natural flair for performing and his outstanding stage presence has made him well established in the music industry as an excellent lead guitarist/bass player and teacher.
